Kelowna week 2

We spent our second week in Kelowna at Nona's. Nona through a party for the boys so that everyone could meet them. We even met another boy born on the exact same day as Reece and Matthew, October 25th, 2009!! The boys had a great time meeting new people and snuggling with their Nona.

Kelowna (week 1)

For our first week in Kelowna we stayed at Grand-dads and Mimi's house. They put together an entire nursery for the boys as well as bouncy chairs, a swing and even a double stroller. The boys had such a great time and LOVED all the attention and snuggles with grand-dad.

The incredible morphing baby

We can't seem to figure out which boy looks more like their daddy. We went through several photos of Dug as a baby and in some we would see a resemblence to Reece and in others we would see a resemblence to Matthew. See for yourself.

I'm starting to think that the problem is Dug looks so different in all of his pictures. The two pictures of him don't even look like the same baby.

Family Get-together

The Simtob family grand-kids.
My older brother Richard, his wife Aimee and their kids Brooke (10) and Brad (8) came in from Detroit. My younger brother Eric, his wife Melanie and their baby Ari (4 months) came in from Pheonix. My Uncle and Aunt, Leon and Mirelle came in from Montreal. And of course Dug, Myself, Reece, Matthew (4.5 months corrected) and my Dad were all there. I can't believe how big our family has grown.

Relay for Life

Yesterday was the Canadian Cancer Society's Relay for Life in Georgetown. It's a 12 hour overnight fundraising event to fight Cancer. We created the team "The Poohs" in memory of Cole and Breanna and this was our third year participating in this event.
This years team consisted of Becky, Vito, Damien, Dug and I plus Reece and Matthew. Our team was small but mighty and despite the thunderstorm, the event went well and our team did a great job of raising over $1000.

Flipping Over and Out

Reece has figured out how to flip over from his back to his stomach. Almost every time I lay him on his play mat he flips over onto his tummy.... sometimes immediately, other times after a few minutes. The only problem is that he seems to have forgotten how to flip back. He had figured out how to flip over from his stomach to his back a couple of months ago but now he can't seem to do it anymore.
